Spoooooky PPP Restoration Work Day

Volunteers are needed to help continue the ongoing weeding & restoration of Patterson Point Preserve. Come join our SPOOOOKY Work Party on Halloween! Wear a costume and get a prize! Bring gloves and a small trowel if you have one. We will be planting some native sedge and weeding ivy. Let's get some work done before the rain comes!

Restoration priorities include removal of invasive species; limiting flood erosion in swale (planting sedge); improving the habitat for native birds, mammals and insects; encouraging appropriate understory plants; ensuring the long-term health of our significant trees and minimizing the impact of our human visitors.
