2026 Boat AnchorageIt's time to get ready for summer fun on the river. Current FoVG members have the benefit to apply for one - or two, space-permitting - spots on the heavy chain that FoVG places on our gravel beach in May. You may lock your kayak, canoe or other small watercraft to the chain, which is on FoVG property, part of Patterson Point Preserve. Only daylight access to the chain is allowed since overnight activities are prohibited. Boats that are not authorized and left overnight will be removed. |
The cost to rent a spot on the chain from Saturday May 16 to Sunday October 11 is $150 and there is no prorated rate for shorter stays. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis until all 25 spots are rented. To sign up, fill out the waiver, pay the annual fee and affix a 2026 authorization sticker to your boat. |
