Ivy Intervention PPP Restoration Work Day

Volunteers are needed to help continue the ongoing weeding & restoration of Patterson Point Preserve. Come pull baby ivy from the newest restoration area. This is a great time of year to make sure they don't have the chance to crowd out the native plants. Please help us spread the word – bring a friend or neighbor! 

Contribute however much time you can and learn more about PPP. Wear sturdy clothes and bring gloves and water. Rainy days will be rescheduled if needed. If you have questions, please email pattersonpointpreserve@gmail.com.

Restoration priorities include removal of invasive species; limiting flood erosion in swale (planting sedge); improving the habitat for native birds, mammals and insects; encouraging appropriate understory plants; ensuring the long-term health of our significant trees and minimizing the impact of our human visitors.
