Volunteers are needed to help continue the ongoing weeding & restoration of Patterson Point Preserve. Contribute however much time you can and learn more about PPP! Bring your gloves and clothing as appropriate for protection (sun, thorns, etc.). Rainy days will be rescheduled if needed. If you have questions, please email pattersonpointpreserve@gmail.com.
Restoration priorities include removal of invasive species; limiting flood erosion in swale (planting sedge); improving the habitat for native birds, mammals and insects; encouraging appropriate understory plants; ensuring the long-term health of our significant trees and minimizing the impact of our human visitors.
